Batteries need more than Recharging!
Rechargeable batteries are a major source of grief and frustration. A portable device is only as reliable as its most expensive component, the battery.
Battery Maintenance and Reconditioning
From the time a battery leaves the factory, it begins to deteriorate. But proper care, attention and regular exercise can prolong the life of the battery.
Rechargeable batteries are maintained, reconditioned and tested using world leading technology. We use the same technology that many of the manufacturers use. A typical service includes reconditioning, maintenance and test programs from only $20.00. This includes a service report with capacity readings.
If your business uses numerous portable electronic devices, talk to us about a maintenance contract.
Extend the usable life of these valuable assets and reduce your costs.
Or,if your business sells battery powered devices, we can help by testing the battery for "dead on arrival" warranty claims before you go to the inconvenience of shipping the goods back up the supply chain.
Testing and Analysis
There are numerous service programs available to suit the customer's requirements and for specific battery uses.
Standard Service - Exercises batteries to maintain optimum performance. This is the recommended program for routine maintenance of batteries. NiCd and NiMH batteries that do not reach the specified target capacity are reconditioned. Lithium based and SLA batteries are not reconditioned, only exercised. Batteries typically need to be serviced and exercised every three to six months.
Prime -Prepare new or stored batteries for peak performance.
Charge - Battery charge only.
Quick Sort - Rapid testing of multiple lithium based batteries of the same model.
Extended Prime - Used to prepare new batteries. Or, for preparing batteries that have been in extended storage for use.
Ohm Test - Checks battery condition.
Self Discharge -Identifies batteries with a high rate of self discharge.
Discharge Only - Used for determining battery performance under load.
Run Time - Tests battery run time based on differing load conditions. It is particularly useful for communications equipment and mission critical applications.
Life Cycle - This is a destructive test used to estimate the usable life cycle for a batch of batteries.
Boost - Used to revive, restore batteries with a very low voltage and those batteries with an open protection circuit [Lithium based batteries].
Custom Programs - Specific programs can be created to accommodate customer specified requirements.
